webMethods Support Engineer
I was assigned to a support team. I prepared and supported IT enviroment for international data exchange hub used webMethods stack (Service-oriented architecture). I worked in an international team using the SCRUM methodology. We used Jira and Confluence tools to manage project activities. I learned how AIX and Windows Server operating systems work, and how to manage the application on both systems. I also learned tools such as Elasticsearch, Grafana, Jenkins and Rundeck from the support and management side. All important project files were managed by Subversion. Thanks to this project, I learned how to work in an international team when creating and managing a large IT system. I gained practical programming skills in Powershell, Bash, Groovy scripting languages, as well as in Java programming language. I also learned the behavior of the Java Virtual Machine environment in large commercial system.

Prepared whole environment with multiple AIX and Windows servers and using webMethods Stack elements: webMethods Integration Server, Universal Messaging, Trading Networks, Terracotta, MyWebMethods Server and Command Central.

Worked with Elasticsearch to store logs of webMethods components and prepared Grafana layouts to analyze logs and recognize threats.

Gained practical skills and wrote automation scripts in Bash and Powershell to avoid repetitive tasks.

Used Jira and Confluence, to manage project activities, and Subversion VCS.

Worked with ITIL service management methodology and with Service-Now ticket system.
